Will not sell to anyone living or working within the M25
By Steven M on 06 March 2024 | Purchase not verified
BE AWARE, THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT SELL TO ANYONE WITHIN THE M25.The most ridiculous, baffling customer service experience in a long time for me.. Called to enquire about a bike as the dealership is 30 miles away from me, was told they would not be able to deliver to my address, I say it would not be a problem I could come and collect if necessary, am then told they would not be able to sale the bike to me as they could not honour any future warranty clause relating to breakdown cover, or support if there was anything wrong with the bike, as I lived within the M25 and they were a small business with a single van which was not ULEZ compliant. I said ok what if i were interested in one of their other bikes without these particular warranty breakdown clauses, they said they would STILL not sell me a bike as i LIVED WITHIN THE M25?!??! What ridiculousness, what if i lived OUTSIDE the M25 but REGULARLY COMMUTED within the M25 for work, would they still not sell me a bike?!? How would they check for this?? I am confused and frustrated, I get being a private business and chosing to sell under particular conditions that suit your business model, but they are in farnborough, a SMALL DISTANCE FROM LONDON, at least advertise your bikes with the clear discriminatory message that you don't sell to people assosiated with the M FREAKING 25 to save them the hassle in the future!!!

Offers with hidden strings
By Anonymous on 01 July 2023 | Purchase not verified
Friendly staff but the devil is in the detail. The adverts on AutoTrader and the MSG website state home delivery of their bikes. This appears to specifically exclude electric bikes unless you live within a random (no more than) 25 miles distance from their shop. No mention of this on any advert whatsoever - please be more authentic and transparent with your information, especially if you intend undercutting any national dealer selling Lexmoto electric mopeds. You’re discriminating against who you’re selling products to simply based on postcode! And it has nothing to do with warranty - as confirmed by numerous other honest dealers and Llexeter themselves (who own the distribution rights for Lexmoto across the UK). Please be a little more genuine with your online advertised offers.

I was looking for a new helmet and was helped by an extremely friendly and competent young man called Andy. the advice he gave me, helped me choose the right helmet for me. I would also like to say the rest of the team joined in to bring a smile to my face. Thanks, Wyatt Dawn visiting from Germany.......

The people are nice enough hence the 1 star, but I’m not confident in their workmanship. I bought a brand new bike - not second hand - it was sold with an issue with the petrol light, which they said they would fix before I picked it up. It wasn’t fixed so I had to take it back, it then transpires they trapped my fuel line in the process of trying to fix it in the first place which was causing the issue. This is sloppy and dangerous, and being a new rider I had assumed this ‘grogginess’ was my inexperience. I later had some issues which were warranty issues (perished battery strap) which granted wasn’t their fault and they sent one out. Although I would have thought they would have noticed this doing the first service. I then took it in for second service and the ignition had stopped working properly (going past the point of engagement, also cutting out over bumps) - I told them about the issue which they dealt with at the last minute (when I mentioned it on pick up they seemed to have forgotten about it!) this seemed to be “fixed” and I was told by wd40 - which, it turns out, was a short term solution as when I went to use the bike again it was working at all, without a lot of fiddling and as soon as you let go it would cut out again so if anything the problem was made worse. Asked to pay a £50 for recovery (bike was not safe to ride) which under normal circumstances (had it just been this one issue and not something I told them about previously) I wouldn’t have an issue with it, but given the number of issues I wasn’t happy - especially considering in other workshops(my partner bought his bike from another dealership and they covered pick up on another warranty issue) and other industries will cover these costs over warranty issues or even as a good will gesture in response to a complaint. Hoping they actually fix the underlying problem. I wanted to go independent rather than a large dealership, but unfortunately it seems the workmanship is sloppy (not what you wa
